  • Clever design for clean cable management with back-mounted connectors

In Win Development Inc. (InWin), a player in the PC enthusiast and gaming hardware industry, has recently launched its latest creation, the F5 full tower EATX PC chassis. Designed specifically for passionate PC builders seeking customization options, extensive cooling capabilities, and compatibility with vertical GPUs and hidden cable motherboards, the F5 is set to impress.

One of the standout features of the InWin F5 is its customizable front panel bezels. Initially showcased at Computex 2023, these bezels can be effortlessly popped off and swapped between glossy or wooden aesthetics, allowing users to personalize their PC’s appearance according to their style preferences. The F5 is available in both black and white color options, complemented by a 3 mm tempered glass side panel that offers a captivating view of the internal hardware. The side panels are also designed for easy removal, eliminating the need for any tools. Furthermore, mesh grills on the front, top, bottom, and opposing side panel ensure optimal ventilation, a crucial factor for maintaining peak performance.

InWin has paid close attention to cooling options in the F5. The spacious interior is engineered to accommodate high-end hardware, including flagship Graphics Cards up to 435 mm in length, larger CPU heatsinks up to 180 mm in height, and high-performance ATX power supplies up to 230 mm long. The chassis supports both vertical and horizontal GPU orientations, with a vertical adapter bracket included in the package for added convenience. To ensure efficient cooling, InWin has bundled the F5 with three premium Neptune AN140/AN140P ARGB fans. These fans deliver exceptional cooling performance right out of the box. However, users can further expand the cooling capacity with up to nine additional fan placements. Additionally, the F5 is Liquid Cooling ready and can accommodate large radiators at the top, bottom, and front of the chassis.

The F5 also caters to the needs of PC builders who value clean cable management. It is designed to support ASUS BTF series and MSI Project-Zero ATX motherboards with back-mounted connectors. This clever design choice hides cables from view, allowing users to create a visually sleek and clutter-free PC build.

Technology Explained

CPU: The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the brain of a computer, responsible for executing instructions and performing calculations. It is the most important component of a computer system, as it is responsible for controlling all other components. CPUs are used in a wide range of applications, from desktop computers to mobile devices, gaming consoles, and even supercomputers. CPUs are used to process data, execute instructions, and control the flow of information within a computer system. They are also used to control the input and output of data, as well as to store and retrieve data from memory. CPUs are essential for the functioning of any computer system, and their applications in the computer industry are vast.

GPU: GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit and is a specialized type of processor designed to handle graphics-intensive tasks. It is used in the computer industry to render images, videos, and 3D graphics. GPUs are used in gaming consoles, PCs, and mobile devices to provide a smooth and immersive gaming experience. They are also used in the medical field to create 3D models of organs and tissues, and in the automotive industry to create virtual prototypes of cars. GPUs are also used in the field of artificial intelligence to process large amounts of data and create complex models. GPUs are becoming increasingly important in the computer industry as they are able to process large amounts of data quickly and efficiently.

Liquid Cooling: Liquid cooling is a technology used to cool down computer components, such as processors, graphics cards, and other components that generate a lot of heat. It works by circulating a liquid coolant, such as water or a special coolant, through a series of pipes and radiators. The liquid absorbs the heat from the components and then dissipates it into the air. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the computer industry due to its ability to provide more efficient cooling than traditional air cooling methods. Liquid cooling can also be used to overclock components, allowing them to run at higher speeds than their rated speeds. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the gaming industry, as it allows gamers to get the most out of their hardware.
