This premium quality case was designed from scratch with water cooling and ease of use in mind, catering to custom loop liquid cooling enthusiasts.
The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK boasts a sleek outer shell made from a single piece of 4 mm-thick, high-quality brushed aluminium, showcasing the iconic InWin aesthetic. The craftsmanship is evident in the meticulously bent design, crafted by skilled artisans using hand-operated techniques.
One of the standout features of this case is its ease of use. Both the top and bottom parts of the case feature removable dust filters and radiator mounts that slide out from the back, making maintenance and installation of radiators with fans a breeze. The motherboard tray can also slide out at the back, simplifying the PC building process and allowing for hassle-free installation of components such as the motherboard, CPU water block, GPU, and water block assembly.
The power supply mount in this case is not only functional but versatile as well. It can slide out of the case and double as a pump, reservoir, or combo unit mount. It supports tubular-style combo units like the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 300 and flat-style units such as the EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 240. Additionally, there is a dedicated cutout for a rear-mounted pump, allowing for easy installation of a flat-style combo unit without the need for standoffs.
The EK-Quantum InWin 977EK features rail-fitted radiator mounts that allow for easy swapping between 120 and 140 mm type radiators without compromising port positions. It can accommodate radiators with a maximum length of 360 or 420 mm, including longer X-Flow variants. The case features a capacitive Power-On button in the shape of the EK logo, located at the front and equipped with RGB lighting. Rubberized feet along the base provide stability and airflow to the bottom radiator while dampening vibrations. A removable hard drive mount allows for the installation of 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives, with support for up to 26 mm in height/thickness.
Cable management is often a challenge for PC builders, but the EK-Quantum InWin 977EK addresses this with a generous 32 mm space for effortless cable organization. The backside of the motherboard tray is equipped with slotted holes that can be used as tie-down points, offering flexibility in cable management.
