Intel’s highly anticipated mid-range A580 GPU has been noticeably absent from the market for over a year. While Intel launched the specifications of four Arc Alchemist GPUs in September 2022, including the A770/A750 and A380 models, the A580 SKU was mysteriously left out.

The A580 GPU was actually one of the earliest leaks from the Arc Alchemist series, boasting an impressive 24 Xe-Cores. This exceeded the specifications of previous models like the ACM-G11 and ACM-G12. Speculation suggests that the A580 may have been based on the ACM-G10 GPU, which offers up to 32 Xe-Cores.

Surprisingly, Intel has not released the A580 despite disclosing its specifications. The recent Innovation 2023 event came and went without any mention or updates on the Arc GPU series. This has led many to believe that the A580 may have been shelved altogether.
