Sycom and Nagao Industry have collaborated to create a unique cooling solution for NVIDIA GPUs, featuring dual 140mm or 120mm Noctua fans, a fanless Noctua NH-P1 cooler, and a fanless power supply, resulting in a noise level of under 40 decibels (dBA).

  • Low noise levels of under 40 decibels (dBA)
  • Available with Sycom prebuilt gaming systems

Sycom, a Japanese company, has teamed up with Nagao Industry to bring a unique cooling solution to the nVidia GPU market. While the ASUS Noctua RTX 4080 was the first to feature Noctua fan designs, Sycom has taken a different approach with its collaboration. They have partnered with Nagao Industry, who has developed a specialized frame capable of accommodating two Noctua fans, as well as other fans of similar size.

Sycom has announced two Graphics Cards in their Silent Master Series, the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti, which utilize either dual 140mm Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM or dual 120mm A12x25 LS-PWM fans. These fans are known for their low noise levels, and Sycom has data to back up this claim. The collaboration between Sycom and Nagao Industry has resulted in a truly unique cooling solution that sets these cards apart from others on the market.

While Sycom is not a direct NVIDIA board partner, they work with various OEM suppliers to provide customized cooling solutions for their graphics cards. In the past, Sycom has focused on custom air and Liquid Cooling solutions, but the introduction of the Silent Master fans marks a new direction for the company.

The Silent Master Series includes three cards based on the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti models, with varying memory capacities. These cards feature a quad-slot design or a dual-slot design, and each card is powered by one 8-pin power connector. It’s worth noting that these cards do not come factory-overclocked.

Sycom claims that their cards maintain a noise level of under 40 decibels (dBA), making them nearly imperceptible when installed inside a closed Computer Case. They back up these claims with their own testing results and provide detailed specifications of the test system used. The design of the system, which incorporates a fanless Noctua NH-P1 cooler and a fanless power supply, further contributes to the overall quiet operation.

At the moment, it seems that these cards will only be available with Sycom prebuilt gaming systems. There is no information about availability through DIY channels, and it’s likely that the release will be limited to the Japanese market.

Liquid Cooling: Liquid cooling is a technology used to cool down computer components, such as processors, graphics cards, and other components that generate a lot of heat. It works by circulating a liquid coolant, such as water or a special coolant, through a series of pipes and radiators. The liquid absorbs the heat from the components and then dissipates it into the air. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the computer industry due to its ability to provide more efficient cooling than traditional air cooling methods. Liquid cooling can also be used to overclock components, allowing them to run at higher speeds than their rated speeds. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the gaming industry, as it allows gamers to get the most out of their hardware.

PWM: Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is a type of technology used in the computer industry that allows for control over pulse and frequency. It works by modulating an output signal’s pulse width or duty cycle to vary the on and off times of the signal. This technology can be used to control and regulate different DC motor, lighting, and other devices. In the computer industry, PWM is often used to control the speed of CPU and GPU fan speeds for improved cooling. It is also used to control backlighting levels on devices such as keyboards or monitors. PWM is versatile, cost-effective, and efficient; as such, it is an important technology in the computer industry.
