Summary: Sycom introduces the Sycom RTX 4080 SUPER, a visually striking and innovative GPU with improved cooling solutions and compatibility with the Intel Z790 platform.
- Customization options for a visually striking GPU
- Innovative cooling solutions with a combination of OEM coolers and proprietary liquid cooling system
- Significant temperature reduction compared to standard VGA cooler
Sycom, a Japanese system integrator, is expanding its G-Master Hydro GPU series with the introduction of the Sycom RTX 4080 SUPER. Known for their customization and innovative cooling solutions, Sycom has combined OEM Coolers with their proprietary liquid cooling system to create a visually striking GPU.
The G-Master Hydro series features a unique color combination of green and brown, thanks to the use of Manli coolers known for their “military” aesthetics. These coolers come equipped with two spirit levels for precise card installation and a VGA support bracket.
Underneath the cooler, you’ll find an Asetek Hybrid GFX cooler connected to an external 240mm radiator fitted with dual Noctua NF-A12x25 ULM fans. Sycom claims that this combination reduces temperatures by 10 to 15 degrees Celsius compared to the standard VGA cooler.
The Sycom RTX 4080 SUPER is compatible with the Intel Z790 platform (14700k CPU) and is priced at 462K yen. However, there is an additional investment of 28K yen required for the SUPER version. This pricing may come as a surprise to some, as the RTX 4080 SUPER was expected to be more affordable.
It’s clear that Sycom is pushing the boundaries of GPU customization and cooling solutions with their G-Master Hydro series. With its unique design and improved temperature reduction, this GPU is sure to catch the attention of PC enthusiasts.

CPU: The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the brain of a computer, responsible for executing instructions and performing calculations. It is the most important component of a computer system, as it is responsible for controlling all other components. CPUs are used in a wide range of applications, from desktop computers to mobile devices, gaming consoles, and even supercomputers. CPUs are used to process data, execute instructions, and control the flow of information within a computer system. They are also used to control the input and output of data, as well as to store and retrieve data from memory. CPUs are essential for the functioning of any computer system, and their applications in the computer industry are vast.
GPU: GPU stands for Graphics Processing Unit and is a specialized type of processor designed to handle graphics-intensive tasks. It is used in the computer industry to render images, videos, and 3D graphics. GPUs are used in gaming consoles, PCs, and mobile devices to provide a smooth and immersive gaming experience. They are also used in the medical field to create 3D models of organs and tissues, and in the automotive industry to create virtual prototypes of cars. GPUs are also used in the field of artificial intelligence to process large amounts of data and create complex models. GPUs are becoming increasingly important in the computer industry as they are able to process large amounts of data quickly and efficiently.
liquid cooling: Liquid cooling is a technology used to cool down computer components, such as processors, graphics cards, and other components that generate a lot of heat. It works by circulating a liquid coolant, such as water or a special coolant, through a series of pipes and radiators. The liquid absorbs the heat from the components and then dissipates it into the air. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the computer industry due to its ability to provide more efficient cooling than traditional air cooling methods. Liquid cooling can also be used to overclock components, allowing them to run at higher speeds than their rated speeds. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the gaming industry, as it allows gamers to get the most out of their hardware.
Z790: The Z790 chipset is a motherboard platform from Intel that supports the 12th Gen Core, 13th Gen Core CPUs and 14th Gen Core CPUs. It offers more PCIe Gen 4 lanes and USB 3.2x2 ports than the previous Z690 chipset, which can enable faster storage and connectivity options.
