On launch day, Galax has made a surprising move by selling its RTX 4070 for 999 NZD, which is actually cheaper than the newly released RX 7800 XT from AMD. This unexpected local promotion in New Zealand has caught the attention of gamers, who now have a tough decision to make. While the Radeon cards have just hit the market, it seems that some sellers have enough stock of the RTX 4070 to offer them at a lower price.

The GALAX RTX 4070 OC X2 is not a premium model, but rather the closest option the company has to offer at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP). This particular model, equipped with dual fans, has been reduced to 999 NZD with taxes, making it slightly cheaper than the Radeon RX 7800 XT available at the same store.
