  • RX 7700 XT boasts impressive specs, including 3456 Stream Processors, 216 Texture Units, and 48 ROPs.
  • RX 7700 XT achieves a score of 17,000 points in the 3DMark TimeSpy GPU test, placing it between the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 models in terms of performance.
  • AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT is set to be released on September 6th with a price tag of $449.

AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 7700 XT GPU seems to be ready to take on the Radeon RX 6800 series, according to a leak from HXL. While no screenshot of the 3DMark Time Spy score has been shared, the leak does provide a detailed specification disclosure based on a GPU-Z entry. This suggests that someone may already have access to the graphics card, possibly a reviewer with a working driver. It’s worth noting that the GPU-Z monitoring software already supports this card.

The RX 7700 XT belongs to the cut-down Navi 32 model and boasts impressive specs, including 3456 Stream Processors, 216 Texture Units, and 48 ROPs. It features the same memory configuration as the previous RX 6700 XT series, with 12GB of VRAM and a 192-bit memory bus. With a memory speed of 18 Gbps, it delivers a maximum bandwidth of 432 GB/s.

According to the leak, the RX 7700 XT achieves a score of 17,000 points in the 3DMark TimeSpy GPU test, placing it between the RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 models in terms of performance. It is also reported to be 32.7% faster than the RX 6700 XT, although it’s important to consider that this model has more cores. However, it’s worth noting that this leak does not include the TimeSpy test at 4K resolution (Extreme Preset), which would provide a clearer picture of its performance. Therefore, drawing conclusions based solely on one synthetic benchmark may not be sufficient.

The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT is set to be released on September 6th with a price tag of $449. It’s interesting to see that it is only $50 cheaper than the RX 7800 XT. However, it’s important to keep in mind that the price difference may not be significant since AMD does not plan to release a reference RX 7700 XT model. Custom designs of Graphics Cards typically come with slightly higher price points compared to reference models.
