- The XH405i kits come with all necessary accessories for building a custom loop, making it a hassle-free solution for newcomers to custom liquid cooling.
- The XG7 GPU waterblock is specifically designed for high-end graphics cards and is available in four different versions to accommodate various models.
Corsair has recently launched its latest addition to the Hydro X series, the iCUE LINK XH405i RGB custom open-loop water cooling kits. These kits are designed to replace the older XH305i kits that were released in 2020. The new XH405i kits feature Corsair’s latest XD5 RGB ELITE pump and reservoir, the XC7 RGB ELITE CPU waterblock, three QX120 RGB fans, and a 360mm radiator. All of these components are equipped with iCUE LINK integration, which allows for seamless connectivity and control.
One notable improvement in the XH405i kits is the inclusion of iCUE LINK hardware. This technology was first introduced with Corsair’s iCUE LINK H150i RGB AIO cooler and has since been integrated into their latest generation of products. With iCUE LINK, users can directly connect and control individual Corsair cooling components, reducing cable clutter and providing more precise control over each component.
The XH405i kits are available in two color options: stealth gray and white. Both variants include a combined pump and reservoir, a CPU waterblock compatible with AM5 and LGA 1700 sockets, three 120mm fans, a 360mm radiator, and a central iCUE LINK Hub. Additionally, the kits come with all the necessary accessories for building a custom loop, such as hardline tubing, a bending kit, fittings, and XL8 clear-colored coolant. These kits are particularly suited for newcomers to custom Liquid Cooling or users who want a hassle-free solution without having to source individual components.
In addition to the XH405i kits, Corsair has also launched the iCUE LINK XG7 RGB GPU waterblock specifically designed for Geforce RTX 4090 and 4080 Super Graphics Cards. The XG7 waterblock comes in four different versions to accommodate ASUS’s ROG STRIX and TUF cards, as well as MSI’s SUPRIM and GAMING TRIO lineups. Like the other components in the XH405i kit, the GPU waterblock is also equipped with iCUE LINK technology.
It’s worth noting that the XH405i kit is targeted towards the premium market and comes with a price tag of $700 for the complete cooling collection. The XG7 GPU waterblock is priced at $230 for all four models.
If you’re interested in upgrading your cooling system, the iCUE LINK XH405i kit is now available for purchase on Newegg, Amazon, and Corsair’s official website.
