Cisco and nVidia have joined forces to provide AI infrastructure solutions for data centers, making it easier for enterprises to deploy and manage the computing power required in the AI era. The partnership aims to help customers navigate the transitions for AI with secure Ethernet-based infrastructure. Cisco, known for its expertise in Ethernet networking, and NVIDIA, the creator of the GPU that fueled the AI boom, have previously collaborated on integrated product solutions for hybrid workforces and data centers. Now, they are expanding their partnership to offer scalable and automated AI cluster management, troubleshooting, and customer experiences.

The collaboration includes the integration of NVIDIA’s Tensor Core GPUs into Cisco’s M7 generation of UCS rack and blade servers, enabling optimal performance for AI and data-intensive workloads. Additionally, Cisco is now offering NVIDIA AI Enterprise, which includes software frameworks, pre-trained models, and development tools, on its global price list. The companies have also developed jointly validated reference architectures through Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs), simplifying the deployment and management of AI clusters in various use cases.

To support AI infrastructure management and operations, Cisco provides simplified on-premises and cloud-based management through Cisco Nexus Dashboard and Cisco Intersight. Moreover, ThousandEyes offers Digital Experience Monitoring to provide AI-driven insights and automated problem remediation across different networks. The Cisco Observability Platform utilizes AI capabilities to correlate real-time telemetry across domains, improving digital experiences.
