NVIDIA has released the RTX 5000 ADA, a powerful workstation GPU with 12,800 CUDA cores, 32GB of GDDR6 memory, and ECC support, now available in China for $4,932 USD.

  • Equipped with the AD102 GPU, featuring a newly configured 12,800 CUDA cores
  • 32GB of GDDR6 memory and ECC support
  • 50% reduction compared to the RTX 6000 ADA

nVidia has launched its latest addition to the RTX ADA series, the RTX 5000 graphics card. This new workstation GPU is now available in China, offering professionals a powerful tool for their creative and computational needs.

It’s important to note that the RTX 5000 ADA should not be confused with the previous generation of RTX Ampere series. The easiest way to distinguish them is by looking for product names containing “ADA.” NVIDIA has expanded its lineup of workstation GPUs with the introduction of the RTX 5000 ADA, alongside the previously announced RTX 4500 and RTX 4000 models.

The RTX 5000 ADA is equipped with the AD102 GPU, featuring a newly configured 12,800 CUDA cores. This represents a significant reduction from the 18K configuration found in the flagship RTX 6000 ADA model. With 32GB of GDDR6 memory and ECC support, this is also the first AD102 model to feature a 256-bit memory bus.

In comparison, the RTX 4080 relies on the AD103 GPU with a native 256-bit memory bus and a 16GB GDDR6X configuration. While the memory bus and lower memory speed of 18 Gbps result in reduced bandwidth compared to the RTX 6000 ADA, the RTX 5000 ADA still offers impressive performance.

Gigabyte, a certified OEM, has officially listed the RTX 5000 ADA on the Chinese JD platform. Priced at 35,999 RMB (approximately $4,932 USD), this represents a 50% reduction compared to the RTX 6000 ADA. It’s worth noting that this price includes local sales tax. The official MSRP for the RTX 5000 ADA is $4,000.

The good news is that the RTX 5000 ADA is currently in stock and available for immediate shipping. Professionals in China can now get their hands on this powerful workstation GPU to enhance their productivity and creative endeavors.
