- AMD is set to launch another GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition) model, the Radeon RX 6750.
- RX 6750 GRE is said to have a price tag matching that of the RTX 4060.
- RX 6750 GRE may use a potentially defective Navi 21 GPU with fewer cores than the RX 6800 non-XT.
Rumor: AMD to Release RX 6750 GRE Graphics Card Exclusively for Chinese Market
According to reports from China, AMD is set to launch another GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition) model, the Radeon RX 6750. This special variant is designed to commemorate the Chinese New Year and will be available exclusively in the Chinese market through the DIY sector. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first GRE GPU from AMD, as they recently launched the Radeon RX 7900 GRE for the Chinese DIY market, which was also available in prebuilt systems outside of China.
Rumors suggest that the RX 6750 GRE will offer performance similar to the Geforce RTX 4060 Ti, a SKU priced at $399 or 3199 RMB. What’s even more interesting is that the RX 6750 GRE is said to have a price tag matching that of the RTX 4060, which is $299 or 2399 RMB.
While details about the upgraded version of the RX 6750 XT have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that this card will represent an improvement over the RX 6750 XT. One possibility is that it may use a potentially defective Navi 21 GPU with fewer cores than the RX 6800 non-XT, or it could feature an increased GPU clock speed. If it opts for the Navi 21 silicon, it may also offer a 256-bit memory bus with an 8GB capacity, similar to the RTX 4060 series.
These rumors originate from Yeston, a company that manufactures both Radeon and GeForce GPUs. However, it remains to be seen whether this SKU will be exclusive to specific brands, similar to what happened with the RX 7900 GRE (XFX, Sapphire, and PowerColor).
Please note that this information is based on rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt.
