EK has released five new products in its Quantum Vector² water block lineup, featuring upgrades such as a custom-made inner O-ring, high-performance thermal pads, and a 3rd-generation Vector cooling engine, providing improved cooling efficiency and compatibility with various PC components.

  • Improved cooling efficiency with custom-made inner O-ring
  • High-performance pre-cut thermal pads for easy installation and optimal heat transfer
  • Upgraded end-piece design for increased compatibility and space-efficiency

EK, a leading manufacturer of premium Liquid Cooling gear, has announced the release of five new products in its Quantum Vector² water block lineup. The EVO version water blocks are specifically designed for compatibility with Strix and TUF 4080 and 4090 series Graphics Cards.

The EVO water blocks come with several key upgrades that enhance performance, reliability, and ease of use. One notable improvement is the custom-made inner O-ring, which prevents coolant from seeping between channels and ensures uninterrupted flow across the entire block. This results in improved cooling efficiency, allowing the GPU to maintain optimal performance even under heavy loads.

Additionally, the EVO water blocks feature high-performance pre-cut thermal pads that offer exceptional thermal conductivity, effectively transferring heat away from critical components. The thermal pads are pre-cut for easy installation, minimizing user error and ensuring a perfect fit every time.

The stand-out end-piece design of the water blocks has also been upgraded, with a shorter length that increases compatibility with various PC cases and components. This design change allows for more flexible and space-efficient builds without compromising on cooling performance.

Another notable upgrade is the use of EK-Loop Thermal Paste NGP, a new and better-performing thermal paste that enhances heat transfer from the GPU to the cooling block, improving overall system performance and stability.

The Vector² EVO water blocks are equipped with a 3rd-generation Vector cooling engine, which has been refined to maximize cooling power. They provide comprehensive thermal management by cooling not only the GPU die but also the voltage regulation module, voltage controllers, and VRAM.

In terms of design and materials, the Vector² EVO water blocks showcase EK’s commitment to quality and aesthetics. Each block is constructed with a 10mm thick copper cold plate, CNC-machined from high-quality pure electrolytic copper and nickel-plated for durability and efficient heat transfer. The top is made of glass-like cast acrylic, allowing for a clear view of the coolant flow.

The water blocks also come with a high-quality black anodized aluminum backplate, which enhances both cooling performance and visual appeal. The backplate encloses the entire GPU, increasing the cooling surface area and providing additional passive cooling for backside components.

Addressable D-RGB LED lighting along the longest edge of the water blocks provides improved brightness and uniformity from every viewing angle. The LEDs are compatible with popular RGB sync technologies, allowing for seamless integration and customization.

The Vector² EVO water blocks adhere to the EK-Matrix7 standard, ensuring standardized dimensions, port positions, and spacing. This makes liquid cooling loop assembly intuitive and straightforward, reducing planning time and simplifying tube bending.

The new EK-Quantum Vector² EVO Strix and TUF compatible water blocks are now available for order through the EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network. Prices range from 286.90€ to 432.90€, depending on the specific model and features.

Liquid Cooling: Liquid cooling is a technology used to cool down computer components, such as processors, graphics cards, and other components that generate a lot of heat. It works by circulating a liquid coolant, such as water or a special coolant, through a series of pipes and radiators. The liquid absorbs the heat from the components and then dissipates it into the air. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the computer industry due to its ability to provide more efficient cooling than traditional air cooling methods. Liquid cooling can also be used to overclock components, allowing them to run at higher speeds than their rated speeds. This technology is becoming increasingly popular in the gaming industry, as it allows gamers to get the most out of their hardware.
