Ubisoft’s highly anticipated game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, has received a significant update with the deployment of Title Update 3. This patch, released on March 1, brings over 150 fixes and adjustments to the game, covering various aspects such as technical improvements, user interface enhancements, balancing changes, and bug fixes.

Led by Massive Entertainment, the development team took into account valuable feedback from the community to ensure an improved gaming experience for players. The team’s dedication to addressing player concerns is evident in the subsequent release of Title Update 3.1 on March 7, which further refines the game with additional fixes.

Technical improvements take center stage in this update, with the introduction of new motion blur settings. Players now have more control over the strength of motion blur, including the ability to adjust camera motion blur separately from object motion blur. XBOX Series X|S and PS5 users also benefit from a motion blur option specifically designed for the ‘Performance’ graphics mode.

Additionally, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) has undergone improvements across all platforms. Players can now enjoy a more seamless gaming experience with reduced artifacts. Notably, the update addresses FSR 3 artifacts that were previously present on the user interface when frame generation was enabled.

PC players will appreciate the enhancements made to the benchmark feature. Issues such as FPS tracking during FSR 3 frame generation and inaccurate CPU utilization reporting on Windows 10 have been resolved. The benchmark results file has also been enriched with additional information to provide users with a more comprehensive overview of their system’s performance.

For those curious about the patch sizes, Title Update 3 weighs in at 7.1 GB for PS5, 9.4 GB for Xbox Series X/S, and 9.6 GB for PC. Meanwhile, Title Update 3.1 comes in at 1.7 GB for PS5, 2.7 GB for Xbox Series X/S, and 2.37 GB for PC.
