AMD introduces limited edition Radeon RX 7900 XTX “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora”

AMD has launched a special edition graphics card, the RX 7900 XTX Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Limited Edition, with a unique thermal reactive paint that changes colors as the card heats up, revealing Avatar-themed markings, 24GB of memory, and RGB LED illumination.

AMD has launched a special edition graphics card, the RX 7900 XTX Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Limited Edition, in collaboration with Ubisoft, the developers of the upcoming Avatar: Frontiers game. This unique GPU stands out not only for its powerful Navi 31 GPU and 24GB of memory but also for its separateive color scheme. What sets it apart is the thermal reactive paint that changes colors as the card heats up, revealing Avatar-themed markings. It’s interesting to note that this feature is not commonly found in other models and brands.

At idle temperatures, certain parts of the card appear dark, but come to life as the card heats up when gaming. Besides this, the card has its own set of RGB LED illumination that you can control from AMD Software Adrenalin. We’ll find out closer to December if this limited edition card includes a copy of the game. The game “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,” releases on December 7, 2023.

While details on how to acquire this card are currently undisclosed, it appears that it will not be available for sale but rather given away during special promotions.
