Lenovo has recently launched its Legion Gaming PCs featuring the latest RTX 40 series Graphics Cards. These powerful GPUs are designed specifically for prebuilt gaming systems and are currently only available in the Asian market. Unfortunately, Lenovo has not yet introduced these Legion PCs with the latest hardware in the United States, as they still rely on the RTX 30 series.
In China, Lenovo has been offering a range of prebuilt gaming systems called the 7000K and 9000K, which have recently been upgraded to accommodate the 14th Generation Core desktop CPUs. These systems all share a common feature – they utilize Intel CPUs and the high-performance Geforce RTX 40 series GPUs, with the exception of the RX 7600 model. The Legion GPUs boast a sleek gunmetal finish and a cooling design that incorporates two or three fans, with some models even incorporating vapor chambers and triple-slot designs for efficient heat dissipation. Interestingly, the design of the Legion GPUs bears a resemblance to AMD Vega designs.
Lenovo’s Legion graphics card lineup includes the RTX 4090, RTX 4080, RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4070/4060 Ti, and RTX 4060 models, covering almost every model within nVidia’s series. However, it’s worth noting that there doesn’t seem to be a 16GB variant for the RTX 4060 Ti at this time.
Additionally, Lenovo is also launching a Legion Radeon GPU called the RX 7600. This GPU features a dual-fan design similar to the RTX 4060 Ti, but without a backplate. Notably, this is the first RDNA3 Lenovo GPU to hit the market.
It’s important to mention that these Legion GPUs are not available for individual purchase; they are exclusively sold as components within Legion prebuilt systems that utilize the 13th and 14th Generation Core series processors.
For those interested in the pricing of the 2024 Legion systems, here are some figures for the Chinese market:
