Noctua, the cooling solutions manufacturer, has just launched its latest products: the NH-U14S TR5-SP6 and NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U CPU Coolers. These coolers are specifically designed for AMD’s TR5 and SP6 sockets, which are compatible with the recently launched 7000 series Threadripper HEDT and Threadripper PRO workstation processors, as well as the 8004 series EPYC server CPUs.
The NH-U14S TR5-SP6 is a 14 cm cooler that boasts maximum cooling performance while operating at minimum noise levels. On the other hand, the NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U is a more compact 9 cm cooler that offers excellent efficiency and is fully compatible with 4U-sized enclosures. Both models are equipped with Noctua’s superior acoustic efficiency, making them ideal for noise-sensitive environments such as audio/video production, content creation, and engineering.
Noctua’s Threadripper and EPYC coolers have been widely recognized as top choices for AMD-based workstations and servers since their introduction in 2017. With their proven design and the new SecuFirm2 mounting system specifically tailored for TR5/SP6 sockets, these new TR5-SP6 models are optimized to fully leverage the power of the new Threadripper and Threadripper Pro processors.
The NH-U14S TR5-SP6 features six heatpipes, a fin surface area of over 6000 cm², and two highly optimized NF-A15 140 mm fans, ensuring exceptional cooling efficiency with minimal noise. This makes it an ideal choice for building cutting-edge, ultra high-performance workstations that operate silently.
On the other hand, the NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U is designed to fit most 4U rack-mount enclosures, making it perfect for powerful yet quiet server builds.
Both cooler models come pre-applied with Noctua’s award-winning NT-H2 thermal paste, ensuring a seamless installation process and optimal thermal interface between the processor and the heatsink.
To further enhance compatibility, Noctua has also introduced the NM-TR5-SP6 mounting kit, which allows users to upgrade their existing DX-4677, DX-4189, DX-3647, and TR4-SP3 series coolers to support the new TR5/SP6 sockets found on TRX50 and WRX90 motherboards.
The NH-U14S TR5-SP6 is priced at EUR 129.90 / USD 129.90, while the NH-D9 TR5-SP6 4U comes at EUR 119.90 / USD 119.90. The NM-TR5-SP6 mounting kit is available for EUR 19.90 / USD 19.90.
All these new products will be available for purchase from the beginning of October through Noctua’s official Amazon store. So, if you’re in need of a premium cooling solution for your AMD-based system, Noctua’s latest products are definitely worth considering.
