ASRock introduces Sleek White Radeon RX 6600 Challenger: A Stunning Addition to the Gaming World

October 6, 2023 by our News Team

ASRock has released a white version of its RX 6600 Challenger D graphics card, featuring the same specifications as the black model but with a unique design including a smaller PCB and one exposed fan.

  • AMD reference clocks of up to 2491 MHz and a memory speed of 14 Gbps.
  • Navi 23 GPU with 1792 Stream Processors and 8GB GDDR6 memory.
  • Single 8-pin power connector, providing the necessary power according to AMD's specifications.

ASRock has introduced its first white graphics card in the Radeon RX 6000 series, the RX 6600 Challenger. This design stands out among ASRock’s lineup of 30 Graphics Cards, as previous white designs were only available in the RX 7000 series. The RX 6600 Challenger D graphics card, previously available only in black, now comes in a sleek white color. Despite the change in appearance, both the black and white models have the same specifications, including AMD reference clocks of up to 2491 MHz and a memory speed of 14 Gbps.

The RX 6600 Challenger White features a Navi 23 GPU with 1792 Stream Processors and 8GB GDDR6 memory. It is a dual-slot model with a single 8-pin power connector, providing the necessary power according to AMD’s specifications. Interestingly, the backplate design reveals that the PCB is smaller than the dual-cooling system, with one of the fans fully exposed.

It is worth noting that the RX 6600 non-XT was initially launched in October 2021, making this white variant available almost two years after its original introduction. While it remains uncertain if this model will expand into the RX 7600 series, ASRock has clearly recognized the demand for white graphics cards and is catering to it.
