TLDR: Yeston has announced the release of its latest Sakura Radeon GPUs, featuring a revamped cooling solution, white PCB and I/O bracket, and limited availability.
- Revamped cooling solution with larger cooler and upsized fans
- White PCB and white I/O bracket design
- More choices for gamers when building new systems
Yeston, a notable player in the GPU market, has announced the release of its latest Sakura Radeon GPUs. The company’s focus has primarily been on the Sakura series, which has gained popularity among gamers. While Yeston’s lineup may not be as extensive as the Geforce RTX 40 series, it has garnered attention for its consistent updates.
With the introduction of the Sakura RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT models, Yeston has made some notable changes. The cooling solution for these GPUs has been revamped, featuring a larger cooler that surpasses its predecessor by over 3 centimeters. The fans have also been upsized, resulting in improved cooling efficiency for high-power GPUs.
But Yeston’s enhancements don’t stop at cooling. The upcoming Sakura RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT models will be the first Navi 32-based cards to sport a white PCB and white I/O bracket. This design change sets them apart from other ‘white’ custom models based on the same SKU, such as ASRock’s Steel Legend model, ASUS’s white TUF Gaming model, and Sapphire’s NITRO PURE.
One challenge with Yeston’s Sakura models is their limited availability. These cards are exclusively sold through Asian e-tail platforms and Newegg in the US. However, Newegg often lags behind in updating to newer SKUs and tends to list these cards at inflated prices. Despite this, Yeston’s Sakura GPUs offer gamers more choices when building their new systems.
Unfortunately, Yeston has not disclosed the full specifications, pricing, and availability of their new Sakura GPUs. However, more details are expected to be revealed prior to the launch on September 6th.
