- Significant improvements in dynamic range, clarity, and spatial awareness
- Uses Artificial Intelligence to personalize the listening experience
- Expanding into speaker systems for a more immersive home entertainment experience
Creative Labs is set to unveil its latest audio profile, the Super X-Fi Gen4, which builds upon the success of its award-winning Super X-Fi Headphone Holography. This new release promises significant improvements in dynamic range, clarity, and spatial awareness, without relying on excessive superlatives. The Super X-Fi Gen4 aims to redefine the standard for immersive audio experiences by offering users an expanded dynamic range for richer audio reproduction, improved clarity for crystal-clear sound, and a refined sense of space for a more lifelike soundstage.
Super X-Fi technology recreates the immersive soundstage of high-end surround speaker systems within headphones, using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to personalize the listening experience based on users’ anthropometric profiles. Since its debut at CES 2019, Super X-Fi has impressed both users and critics with its realistic audio reproduction in various scenarios, from movies to concerts and gaming.
Originally designed for headphones, Super X-Fi is now expanding into speaker systems, bringing the same revolutionary experience to home entertainment. With Super X-Fi for speakers, any living space can be transformed into a vibrant concert hall or theater, providing an immersive listening journey with realistic and deep sound.
The Super X-Fi Gen4 will be available worldwide in June, with users able to configure and download their new profiles through the SXFI APP.
Creative Labs is also planning to integrate Super X-Fi technology across its upcoming product line-up, including True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, premium headphones, and speakers. This expansion will allow users to access the world of Super X-Fi seamlessly on their preferred streaming platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify, even on compact earbuds and speakers.
Lee Teck Chee, Chief Technology Officer at Creative and inventor of Super X-Fi, expressed gratitude to the user community for their valuable insights and data that have shaped the evolution of Super X-Fi. With Super X-Fi Gen4, Creative aims to deliver an even more immersive listening experience that surpasses flat and lackluster audio. Additionally, the integration of Super X-Fi technology across their product line-up will provide users with easy access to spatial audio no matter where they are.
