Samsung Electronics made a grand entrance at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas, showcasing its AI-powered Galaxy ecosystem. The company’s Mobile Experience Zone at the event drew in attendees who were eager to catch a glimpse of Samsung’s latest innovations and witness the seamless integration of its products with industry-leading partners. Samsung Newsroom visited the booth and highlighted the key takeaways from the event, shedding light on how Samsung is shaping the future of hyper-connected mobile experiences.
One of the highlights of the showcase was the new Galaxy Book4 Series, which was importantly displayed near the entrance of the zone. Attendees had the opportunity to experience the impressive AI performance and ultra-responsive touchscreen display of the Galaxy Book4, which was released in Korea on January 4. Powered by the new Intel Core Ultra Processor, the Galaxy Book4 series offers enhanced connectivity and delivers a high-performance AI experience. The zone featured up-close demonstrations of the laptop’s increased processing power, made possible by the addition of a Neural Processing Unit (NPU).
The introduction of Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen technology across all models in the series caught the attention of attendees. They were captivated as they used their hands to effortlessly scroll and zoom in and out. “It has the touchscreen which I like,” said one visitor. “For me, touchscreen is everything—even on my laptop.” The high-resolution display also impressed visitors with its glare-free performance under bright lights, thanks to anti-reflection capabilities that prevent unwanted reflections in different lighting conditions. The Vision Booster feature automatically adjusted color contrast and brightness, ensuring visitors could fully appreciate the crystal-clear display amidst the bustling electronics show.
In the Mobile Experience Zone, attendees discovered the potential of AI and how it enhances device experiences through seamless connectivity. The zone showcased a video that demonstrated this concept, highlighting how AI bridges the gap between devices. Samsung recognizes the importance of partnerships in driving innovation in the tech industry. By collaborating with technology leaders such as Microsoft and Google, Samsung is able to elevate the user experience by improving productivity and efficiency.
One notable result of these partnerships is Copilot, Microsoft’s Generative AI assistant. Copilot accurately reads, summarizes, and sends text messages from mobile or PC, creating a cohesive experience across devices. Additionally, Google Meet offers high-quality video during conference calls, further enhancing productivity. Attendees at the event also had the opportunity to experience Galaxy’s leading productivity tools. Multi Control allows seamless movement between Galaxy smartphones and Tablets using a mouse or keyboard, while Second Screen enables the expansion or duplication of PC displays on a tablet.
To build excitement for an upcoming AI mobile experience, Samsung teased its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event, scheduled for January 17. This event will serve as a platform for Samsung to announce its new flagship smartphone, further pushing the boundaries of AI-powered mobile devices.
