GIGABYTE Technology's subsidiary, Giga Computing, has introduced direct liquid cooling (DLC) multi-node servers, Intel-based servers, high-density servers, and a 12U single-phase immersion tank to improve sustainability and energy efficiency in data centers.

Gigabyte Technology’s subsidiary, Giga Computing, has made an exciting announcement in the realm of high-performance servers and workstations. The company has introduced direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) multi-node servers designed for the nVidia Grace CPU and NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip. Additionally, GIGABYTE has launched a DLC ready Intel-based server for the NVIDIA HGX H100 8-GPU platform and a high-density server for AMD EPYC 9004 processors. To top it off, they have also introduced a new 12U single-phase immersion tank for optimal efficiency.

Among the newly announced products are the Intel Xeon-based H263-S63-LAN1 and AMD EPYC-based H273-Z80-LAN1 high-density CPU servers. These 2U 4 node servers utilize DLC for all eight CPUs, ensuring that their dense computing CPU performance reaches its full potential. GIGABYTE had previously announced new servers for the NVIDIA HGX H100 GPU in August, and they have now added the DLC version to their G593 series with the G593-SD0-LAX1 server, which supports the NVIDIA HGX H100 8-GPU platform.

GIGABYTE has always been dedicated to improving sustainability and energy efficiency in data centers, and their latest DLC servers are a testament to that commitment. With the advancements in current generation processors, GIGABYTE has developed innovative solutions that enhance power usage efficiency (PUE) and enable sustainable peak system performance through DLC technology. They have already demonstrated the effectiveness of DLC cold plates for 4th gen CPUs and NVIDIA HGX H100 GPUs in servers like the GIGABYTE GPU G363-SR0 and the high-density H273-Z80.

Expanding their products further, GIGABYTE now provides coolant distribution units (CDUs) from their partner, Motivair, to complement their servers, racks, manifolds, and cold plates. This collaboration allows for a complete DLC solution and facilitates rapid deployment.

In addition to DLC, GIGABYTE has also ventured into single-phase immersion cooling. They have introduced a new 12U EIA immersion tank, the A1P0-EA0, which joins their existing immersion tank portfolio that includes support for 18OU OCP servers (A1O3-CC0) and 21U EIA servers (A1P0-EB0).

When customers engage with GIGABYTE sales to explore server platforms, they are presented with a wide range of options from the company’s deep server portfolio. Whether it’s AI and HPC, cloud computing, or edge computing solutions, GIGABYTE’s G-series and H-series servers continue to expand with new DLC SKUs.
