CyberLink and Intel Collaborate to Pioneer Gen-AI Era, Elevating AI Content Creation

CyberLink, a important player in digital creative editing software and artificial intelligence (AI), made its presence felt at the Intel Innovation Taipei 2023 event. As a longstanding partner of Intel, CyberLink showcased its latest generative AI technology, which enables users to effortlessly create stunning photo and video content using tools like AI Business Outfits, AI Product Background, and AI Video to Anime. During the forum, Jau Huang, Chairman and CEO of CyberLink, discussed how Intel’s upcoming AI PC is set to revolutionize content creation by bringing generative AI capabilities from the cloud to personal computers. This move not only reduces the cost of AI computing but also addresses privacy concerns, opening up a whole new realm of AI content creation that makes unleashing creativity with generative AI even easier.

The Intel Innovation Taipei event was inaugurated by Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel. The event revolved around four major themes: artificial intelligence, edge to cloud, next-generation systems and platforms, and advanced technologies. It also showcased the latest outcomes of collaboration with Taiwan ecosystem partners, including the unveiling of AI PCs. Sam Gao, Intel Vice President and General Manager of the Client Platform Solutions Group, delivered a keynote speech titled “Winning in the AI PC Era with Intel Client Platform.” In his address, Gao elaborated on Intel’s AI PC acceleration program, which aims to expedite the development of AI PCs.

During Gao’s session, Jau Huang was invited to present and share the use cases of AI PCs. Expressing his gratitude for being a longstanding software partner of Intel and participating in their AI PC acceleration program, Huang emphasized the potential of integrating software and hardware to achieve optimal AI performance. He also highlighted the exciting possibilities for innovative applications of AI technology. CyberLink has made creative editing a breeze with the launch of over 10 new generative AI functions. These include AI Business Outfit, AI Fashion Outfits, AI Scene, AI text to image, AI Avatar, AI Sky, AI Sound Effect Generator, and AI Anime. Notably, the AI Business Outfit feature in PhotoDirector offers users a range of clothing style options, enabling them to transform their personal photo outfits into professional attire suitable for resumes or corporate photos. Similarly, the newly introduced AI Product Background function utilizes AI automatic generation technology to quickly create appropriate background images for products showcased on e-commerce websites or in promotional materials. This feature not only saves time but also eliminates the need for a photo studio and additional post-production and retouching steps.

With Intel’s plans to release the Intel Core Ultra processor, codenamed “Meteor Lake,” in December 2023 for AI PC acceleration, CyberLink is set to roll out additional generative AI features in the coming months. By leveraging AI technology, CyberLink aims to drive innovation in video creation and image editing software.
