Velocity Micro, the manufacturer of top-notch enthusiast desktops, Laptops, high-performance computing solutions, and professional workstations, has just launched its latest offerings: the ProMagix G480a and G480i. These two GPU servers have been specifically optimized for High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. With the power of dual AMD EPYC 4th Gen or dual 4th Gen Intel Scalable Xeon processors, these servers come in a compact 4U form factor and can support up to eight dual slot PCIe Gen 5 GPUs. This impressive compute power is designed to cater to the most demanding workflows, including simulation, rendering, analytics, deep learning, and more.

The ProMagix G480 server line includes two options: the ProMagix G480i and the ProMagix G480a. The G480i is powered by dual 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors and supports up to 8x dual slot PCIe Gen 5 GPUs. This highly configurable 4U server is ideal for CPU and GPU compute-intensive workloads, especially those optimized for the AVX-512 instruction set. It also features expansion options such as 12-channel RDIMM DDR5 and 2 x 10 Gb/s BASE-T LAN.

On the other hand, the G480a boasts dual AMD Epyc 9004 series processors and supports up to 8 PCIe Gen 5 GPUs. With a highly scalable design that can accommodate up to 192 total CPU cores and 384 processing threads, this 4U server is perfect for both CPU and GPU compute-intensive workloads. Similar to the G480i, it offers features like 12-channel RDIMM DDR5 and 2 x 10 Gb/s BASE-T LAN.

Velocity Micro plans to introduce additional GPU server solutions later in Q4 to complement the G480a and G480i. As always, all Velocity Micro systems are shipped from and supported in Richmond, VA, ensuring quality and reliability for their customers.
