We have seen a teaser of the HYTE Y70 Touch earlier this month. But now the Computer Case has been completely revealed.
HYTE, a important player in the world of PC components and peripherals and sister company of iBUYPOWER, has just launched its latest innovation, the Y70 Touch. This addition to the iconic Y-Series cases is set to turn heads with its standout feature: a vibrant 14.1-inch 1100 x 3840 capacitive touchscreen seamlessly integrated into the corner panel.
Rob Teller, HYTE’s Product Director, expressed his excitement, stating, “The dedicated touchscreen is an engaging instrument to reach the digital plane of your physical machine, creating a more comfortable personal computing experience. With obsessive improvements in cooling, capacity, and design, the Y70 Touch is the modern aesthetic case.”
The Y70 Touch takes the legacy of HYTE’s popular Y60 and elevates interactivity and immersion in PC cases to new heights. Its 10-point multi-touchscreen with 283 pixels per inch comes pre-installed, offering an incredibly crisp and smooth visual experience. Users can interact with their PC long after the build process is complete.
Customization is at your fingertips with the HYTE Nexus software. A plethora of widgets allow for a highly personalized digital experience. Monitor system performance, engage with Twitch chat, play games, display your Google calendar, check the weather, and manage your notes, all from the corner of your Y70 Touch.
But that’s not all – HYTE continues its tradition of excellent cooling. The Y70 Touch features an optimized Y-series ventilation pattern with lower impedance, ensuring increased airflow and cooling capacity. You can mount up to a 360mm radiator and a 180mm air cooler comfortably. Want to keep your GPU cool? The Y70 Touch accommodates up to three 120mm fans in the basement to provide direct cooling.
Aesthetic choices abound with four color combinations – Snow White (all white), white with black interior, red with black interior, and black. The PCIe 4.0 riser cable, complete with a color-matched canopy, allows for exclusive vertical GPU mounting of up to a four-slot card, accommodating even the mightiest of Graphics Cards. Behind the GPU, seven half-height horizontal PCIe slots offer additional hardware support.
Inside, the Y70 Touch adopts a dual-chamber layout to showcase your components in the front and maintain a tidy cable management space in the rear. Upgrades and maintenance are a breeze with tool-less top and side panels. You can even create a hybrid, open frame design with the removal of the glass panels. The attention to detail shines with seamless L-shaped molded rubber grommets around the motherboard tray, giving the case a cohesive look. Reusable Velcro straps, routing channels, and tie-down points ensure the rear of the case is as beautiful as the front.
The Y70 Touch is available now in the United States and Canada, with a starting MSRP of $359.99 USD. European MSRP will be 399 euro including vat or 349 GBP in the UK. Global availability is expected in December. Get ready to experience the future of PC cases with HYTE’s Y70 Touch.
