XFX, a graphics card manufacturer, has recently launched its latest lineup of Graphics Cards featuring the AMD Navi 32 GPU. The company has streamlined its product range to two series: MERC and QICK, both falling under the Speedster GPU lineup. While these two series share similarities, there are notable differences between them.

The MERC series is positioned as the top-of-the-line offering from XFX, providing gamers with a comprehensive range of features. On the other hand, the QICK series is tailored for mainstream gamers who may not require all the bells and whistles.

Visually, both series showcase an identical triple-fan design with 13 blades and dual-BIOS functionality. However, the backplate design sets them apart, with the MERC series sporting a ridged backplate while the QICK series adopts a more streamlined appearance. Additionally, the MERC GPU features an XFX LED logo, whereas the QICK lacks any lighting effects.

Let’s dive into the specifics of the Radeon RX 7800/7700 series by XFX. The lineup consists of three models: XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT QICK 319 Core Edition (RX-78TQICKF9), XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT MERC 319 Black Edition (RX-78TMERCB9), and XFX Radeon RX 7700 XT QICK 319 Black Edition (RX-77TQICKB9). Unfortunately, XFX has not yet disclosed the full specifications for these models, including clock speeds or power settings. However, we do know that each model features three fans and comes in either a 2.5-slot (QICK) or 2.75-slot (MERC) configuration. XFX has also confirmed that the MERC series will incorporate a vapor chamber design.

In terms of GPU specifications, the RX 7800 XT offers 60 Compute Units and 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit interface, while the RX 7700 XT features 54 CUs and 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit interface.

Excitingly, both the QICK and MERC models are set to release on September 6th. While pricing details have not been officially announced, it is expected that the QICK models will be priced at $499 and $449, respectively, with the MERC series potentially commanding a slightly higher price point.

XFX’s latest graphics cards with the AMD Navi 32 GPU certainly have gamers eagerly awaiting their release. With their separate features and powerful specifications, these cards are poised to deliver an exceptional gaming experience.
