NVIDIA’s own benchmarks reveal that without DLSS 3 and Frame Generation, the RTX 40 GPUs can only deliver around 60+ FPS at 1080p resolution with RTX 4090. At 4K resolution, even the RTX 4090 struggles to maintain an average of 24 frames per second without DLSS. However, once DLSS is enabled, the performance drastically improves, with even the RTX 4060 delivering over 60 FPS at 1080p resolution. Unfortunately, NVIDIA did not provide benchmarks for other Graphics Cards, but reviewers have shared additional data.

TechPowerUP’s review covers a wide range of graphics cards, including AMD and Intel, all running full ray tracing without upscaling technology. It becomes evident that only a select few GPUs can provide a playable experience without the assistance of DLSS 3.5 and Frame Generation.
