GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Card Debuts at $430, Undercuts Upcoming RX 7700 XT

Geforce RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB memory receives a price cut in response to AMD’s competition. nVidia has officially positioned the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT as rivals to their own RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Graphics Cards. However, the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB, which launched at $499 in July, faced criticism for its high price tag. With the upcoming release of the RX 7700 XT at an expected price of $449, it could pose a challenge for the RTX 4060 Ti 16GB.

In anticipation of this threat, NVIDIA’s board partners have decided to lower the prices of their RTX 4060 Ti 16GB models to $449 or even lower, undercutting the RX 7700 XT. Some US retailers have already adjusted their prices accordingly. PNY, for instance, has gone as far as offering the card for $431, a $69 discount from its original launch price. However, it’s worth noting that this lower price seems to be an exception, as MSI and ASUS have set their lowest-tier models (Ventus/Dual series) at $449.

AMD has stated that their Navi 32 cards will come with competitive pricing and they are eagerly awaiting market response.
