Even when compared to the non-V-Cache variant of the Ryzen 9 7945HX, the 7945HX3D still held a significant advantage, with a 33% lead and a 20% performance difference.

When it comes to gaming, the Ryzen CPUs have always had an edge over Intel’s products, and the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D is no exception. In Cyberpunk 2077, a popular and demanding game, the Core i9-13980HX trailed behind, giving the Ryzen 9 7945HX and the 7945HX3D a lead of 12% and 13%, respectively.

Another CPU-intensive game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, showcased the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D’s superiority. The Intel Core i9-13980HX struggled to maintain performance, averaging 144 FPS on the Strix Scar 18. In comparison, the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D delivered an astounding 89% improvement, solidifying its position as the fastest mobile processor for gaming.

Far Cry 5, a popular open-world game, also saw the Ryzen 9 7945HX3D dominate. While the Core i9-13980HX was marginally faster than the Ryzen 9 7945HX by 8%, it couldn’t compete with the 7945HX3D, which boasted a remarkable lead of 38%.
