Intel’s upcoming Core Ultra Meteor Lake series has leaked, giving us a glimpse into what we can expect from these new processors. The leak comes after the appearance of the Ultra 7 155H CPU on Geekbench, with additional entries for other models now surfacing.
One notable change is the naming convention for these CPUs, which appears to be more compact compared to earlier engineering samples. The first generation of the Core Ultra series will adopt a three-digit format, starting with “1XXH.” The “H” designation indicates that these processors are part of the mainstream mobile series and are likely to have a 45W TDP.
Insiders have revealed that Intel is planning to introduce two more Ultra models: the Ultra 7 165H and Ultra 9 185H. The Ultra 9 185H is expected to have a clock boost of 5.1 GHz, while the 165H variant will reach a maximum frequency of 5.0 GHz. This represents an increase of 300MHz and 200MHz, respectively, compared to the 155H model. All known Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 9 models will feature 16 cores, consisting of 6 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores.
In addition to these models, Intel is also preparing to launch its first Ultra 5 variant, known as the 125H. Previous leaks have suggested that there won’t be any Ultra 3 models, making the 125H potentially the lowest-performing SKU in the Meteor Lake-H lineup. The Core 5 Ultra 125H is expected to have 4 P-Cores and 10 E-Cores, with two smaller cores located in the SoC die.
It’s worth noting that these four SKUs may not be the complete list of the Core 100 series. Intel is also rumored to release Raptor Lake Refresh SKUs under the same series, but without the “Ultra” moniker.
