Zotac GAMING has officially announced the highly anticipated ZOTAC GAMING ZONE, a premium gaming handheld that is now available for pre-order in select regions and e-tailer platforms. The ZONE, which boasts top-of-the-line hardware and advanced controls, was first launched at Computex 2024 and has been eagerly awaited by gaming enthusiasts.

Attendees at Gamescom 2024, one of the largest annual video game trade fairs held in Cologne, Germany, will have the exclusive opportunity to experience gaming on the ZONE before anyone else.

The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE sets itself apart from other handheld gaming PCs on the market by incorporating premium hardware and elite control features that provide gamers with unparalleled immersion and advantages in PC gaming.

Powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8840U processor, which features the Zen 4 architecture and RDNA 3 graphics, the ZONE delivers exceptional performance and allows for AAA gaming at native 1080p resolution. With 16GB of LPDDR5X-7500 Memory, the ZONE offers stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. Gamers can also take advantage of AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames (FMF) and FidelityFX Super Resolution technology to further enhance their gaming experience. Storage needs are covered with a full-sized 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD and a UHS-II microSD card reader.

The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE features a first-of-its-kind 7” Full HD AMOLED Display, providing gamers with deep blacks and a wide color gamut for an immersive visual experience. With a fast 120Hz high Refresh Rate and up to 800nits of brightness, the display ensures smooth visuals and crystal-clear details.

In addition to its impressive hardware, the ZONE offers a suite of elite control options typically found only on premium game controllers. Hall effect sensors enhance precision and prevent drifting, while 2-stage adjustable triggers allow gamers to play like professionals on the go. Radial dials enable easy adjustment of system settings, and dual trackpads provide alternative means of control. The ZONE also features a full-sized gamepad, rear twin macro buttons, and deliberately chosen button types for optimal feedback.

The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE’s ergonomic design ensures a stable and comfortable grip for hours of continuous usage. The symmetrical button layout allows for a positive grip on the device.

Connectivity options include dual USB4 ports for greater flexibility, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for high-speed internet connectivity and compatibility with Bluetooth accessories, a front-facing camera and microphone for impromptu video calls, and a fingerprint reader power button for secure login via Windows Hello.

ZOTAC GAMING is also introducing two accessories for the ZONE: a docking station with a variety of ports and an interface for additional fast NVMe SSD storage, and a carrying case with extra storage space for gaming on the go.

Each ZOTAC GAMING ZONE unit will come bundled with a free one-month XBOX Game Pass Trial, allowing gamers to dive right into the world of handheld gaming and explore a wide range of games.

At GAMESCOM 2024, ZOTAC GAMING will showcase the finalized ZOTAC GAMING ZONE handheld, along with its Graphics Cards and ZBOX Mini-PC lineup.
