- Extensive single-player and multiplayer options with customizable gameplay
In a thrilling announcement, Fulqrum Publishing and Ukrainian studio Best Way have revealed that the highly anticipated real-time strategy (RTS) title Men of War II will be hitting PC screens on May 15, 2024. This release date holds special significance for long-time fans, as it marks the 10th anniversary since the full release of Men of War: Assault Squad 2.
After conducting a series of public playtests last year, the diligent team at Best Way made the wise decision to invest extra development time in incorporating valuable feedback from the community. As a result, players can expect to reap the benefits of this meticulous labor upon launch. Men of War II has undergone numerous technical improvements, bug fixes, and a boost in audio-visual quality since the last Open Beta.
The game will introduce three playable nations at launch: the Soviets, Americans, and the Third Reich. Each faction will boast its own compelling narrative campaign, alongside two additional Historical campaigns, a dynamic Conquest campaign, and an engaging RAID mode that resembles skirmishes. What’s more, all of the single-player content can be enjoyed in co-op mode with up to five players. The multiplayer options are equally enticing, offering extensive PvP and PvE modes. Ranked match-making will be available for all three battle setups: Battalions, Combined Arms, and Classic Mode.
Men of War II elevates the World War II RTS experience to new heights by presenting players with an unprecedented number of units, each with their own unique specializations to command. The game’s unyielding commitment to historical accuracy is commendable, and its advanced enemy AI promises to provide a formidable challenge. Moreover, players can expect a feast for the senses with the game’s enhanced visual and audio excellence.
With its plethora of customizable gameplay options and modes catering to single-player enthusiasts as well as PvP and co-op multiplayer fans, Men of War II manages to strike a chord with both the hardcore RTS aficionado and the more casual gamer. The game will be available for PC via popular platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and other digital stores on May 15, 2024, at a retail price of $44.99 USD / £37.99 GBP / €44.99 EUR.

Technology Explained
RAID: RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) is a technology used in the computer industry to increase the performance, reliability, and storage capacity of computer systems. It works by combining multiple hard drives into a single logical unit, allowing them to be accessed as if they were a single drive. This allows for faster data access, as multiple drives can be accessed simultaneously, and for increased reliability, as data can be stored redundantly across multiple drives. RAID is commonly used in servers, workstations, and other high-performance computing systems, as well as in consumer-level storage solutions such as NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices.
