Its third-generation RT Cores deliver up to 1.7 times faster Ray Tracing performance, while fourth-generation Tensor Cores offer up to 1.8 times higher AI throughput. The GPU’s CUDA cores provide up to 1.5 times the FP32 throughput of the previous generation for significant improvements in graphics and compute workloads. It also offers an immersive experience with up to 3 times better performance for virtual-reality workflows compared to the previous generation. The GPU’s 16 GB of memory provides an expanded canvas for tackling larger projects, along with support for error correction code memory for greater computing accuracy and reliability. DLSS 3 brings a breakthrough in AI-powered graphics, boosting performance by generating additional high-quality frames, while the AV1 encoder with AV1 support enables new possibilities for broadcasters, streamers, and video callers.

To complement the RTX 2000 Ada, NVIDIA has released the latest RTX Enterprise Driver, which enhances graphics workflows and supports the new GPU. Features include an AI-based dynamic range tone-mapping feature called Video TrueHDR, which expands the color range and brightness levels when viewing content in Chrome or Edge browsers. The driver also includes support for Video Super Resolution and TrueHDR in the NVIDIA NGX software development kit, allowing for enhanced video quality of low-resolution sources and easy conversion of SDR content to HDR. Other features in this release include TensorRT-LLM, which optimizes and accelerates inference performance for large language models, improved video quality and coding efficiency for video codecs, the ability to offload work from the CPU to the GPU for quicker task completion, and the display of GPU serial numbers in the NV Control Panel for easier registration to NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise platforms.
