The results were clear: the Core i9-13900K outperformed the Ryzen 9 7950X in every game we tested. In “A Plague Tale: Requiem,” the i9-13900K achieved a score of 200 FPS, while the Ryzen 9 7950X lagged behind at 168 FPS. Similarly, in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light 2, F1 2022, Ghostwire Tokyo, Hitman 3, Hogwarts Legacy, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Callisto Protocol, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the i9-13900K consistently delivered higher frame rates.

However, it’s worth noting that the performance differences between the two CPUs were not astronomical. In most cases, the deltas were slim to moderate. This means that while the Core i9-13900K may have the edge, the Ryzen 9 7950X is still a formidable competitor.

In conclusion, the battle between Intel’s Core i9-13900K and AMD’s Ryzen 9 7950X was fierce, but the i9-13900K emerged as the victor. With its impressive core count and clock speeds, it proved to be the better gaming CPU in our tests. However, both processors offer excellent performance and will undoubtedly satisfy even the most demanding users.
