COLORFLY, the high-end professional audio brand of Colorful, has launched its latest offering – the CDA-M2 Hi-Fi USB DAC and Amplifier. This impressive device is available in two captivating colors – starry gray and a limited edition purple variant, with only 100 units produced. Adding to its accolades, the CDA-M2 recently won the esteemed 2023 CGD Contemporary Good Design Award. To create the limited edition purple variant, COLORFLY collaborated with dd HiFi, a Chinese professional audio cable brand.
The CDA-M2 sets a new standard for audio quality with its incorporation of two Cirrus Logic DAC CS43198 flagship audio processors – a first for the M Series DAC/Amplifiers. Its internal circuitry utilizes a 6-layer gold-plated PCB, strategically isolating digital and analog circuits to optimize audio processing. Additionally, the M2 boasts two independent XR2001 amplifier chips for the 3.5mm and 4.4mm outputs, delivering an impressive dynamic range of up to 130dB.
Building upon COLORFLY’s flagship player audio architecture, the CDA-M2 introduces the JitterKill Femtosecond Clock Technology, exclusively designed for U series players. Operating in ASYNC mode, this technology meticulously restructures data, enabling audio signal transmission to bypass USB clock and SRC interference, resulting in a journey of pristine, lossless sound.
The CDA-M2 features an OLED display and all-new control buttons, ensuring easy navigation for users. It also offers flexible two-level gain options – High/Low – allowing users to optimize output for either headphones or earbuds. Gain adjustment is made effortless with the assistance of the OLED display.
In terms of connectivity, the CDA-M2 comes bundled with an upgraded USB-C cable featuring a pure copper silver-plated core for low Latency transmission, protected by multi-layer insulation. Furthermore, the device features a UAC 1.0 Game Mode designed specifically for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, making it an ideal audio decoder for supported game consoles.
The CDA-M2 also introduces Volume Memory, a new feature that saves the volume level when connected to any front-end device. This ensures a consistent listening experience across different devices.
Key features of the COLORFLY CDA-M2 Hi-Fi USB DAC and Amplifier include multi-platform compatibility (Mac OS, Windows, iOS, Android), a 128×64 pixel OLED display for visual operation, two gain modes (High and Low), an upgraded “ribbon” cable design for improved conductivity and low latency transmission, a durable CNC aluminum alloy body, dual Cirrus Logic DAC CS43198 audio processors, professional player architecture, S/Pdif coaxial output, 5 digital filter modes, and 3.5mm single-ended + 4.4mm balanced outputs.
The COLORFLY CDA-M2 Hi-Fi USB DAC Amp is now available at partner resellers in Mainland China and APAC. For more information, please visit the official website at https://shenzhenaudio.com/products/colorfly-cda-m2-dual-cs43198-portable-usb-dac-amp.

Technology Explained
Latency: Technology latency is the time it takes for a computer system to respond to a request. It is an important factor in the performance of computer systems, as it affects the speed and efficiency of data processing. In the computer industry, latency is a major factor in the performance of computer networks, storage systems, and other computer systems. Low latency is essential for applications that require fast response times, such as online gaming, streaming media, and real-time data processing. High latency can cause delays in data processing, resulting in slow response times and poor performance. To reduce latency, computer systems use various techniques such as caching, load balancing, and parallel processing. By reducing latency, computer systems can provide faster response times and improved performance.
