Lian Li introduces new UNI FAN TL LCD and TL series with customizable LCD display and advanced features for improved performance and aesthetics.
- Customizable LCD display with a resolution of 400x400 pixels
- Revamped lighting style with two LED zones for a visually striking effect
- Flexible options for size, color, and airflow design
Lian Li, the manufacturer of chassis and PC accessories, has just launched an exciting new series of interlocking fans called the UNI FAN TL LCD and UNI FAN TL. These fans come packed with innovative features that will surely capture the attention of tech enthusiasts.
Let’s start with the UNI FAN TL LCD, which boasts a built-in 1.6″ LCD display with a resolution of 400×400 pixels. This LCD display is fully customizable using L-Connect, allowing users to personalize it with GIFs, MP4s, JPGs, and PNG files. Alternatively, users can choose to display crucial system sensor information, such as CPU speed or temperature. The possibilities for customization are truly endless.
On the other hand, the UNI FAN TL offers a fan experience that prioritizes both noise reduction and performance optimization. Equipped with LCP blades and FDB bearings with copper shielding, these fans ensure that you get the best of both worlds. The revamped lighting style is another standout feature, with two LED zones implemented in a diffused RGB strip at the top and bottom of the frame. This strip wraps around the mounting points of the fans, creating a visually striking effect.
Both the UNI FAN TL LCD and UNI FAN TL models come in black and white variations, as well as sizes of 120 mm and 140 mm. Additionally, they are available in regular and reverse airflow designs, giving users plenty of options to suit their specific needs.
The UNI FAN TL LCD takes things up a notch by integrating a 1.6″ LCD IPS screen right at the center of the fan. With a resolution of 400×400 pixels, this screen can display a wide range of system information, including CPU temperature, CPU load, GPU temperature, GPU load, and fan speed. Furthermore, the LCD display supports various file formats for customization, allowing users to create a truly unique and personalized setup. The L-Connect software enables synchronization across multiple fans for a cohesive look.
The UNI FAN TL LCD controller can accommodate up to 7 LCD fans simultaneously, with each port supporting up to 3 UNI FAN TL LCD fans. This flexibility allows users to mix groups of TL and TL LCD fans, achieving a perfect balance between performance and aesthetic customization.
Moving on to the UNI FAN TL, these fans feature a 9-blade configuration made from durable Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP). This material ensures that the blades maintain their shape even at high speeds, resulting in improved performance. The fan blades are positioned closer to the fan frame, measuring 0.65 mm for the TL 120 and 1.0 mm for the TL 140. This design enhances the blade surface area, further optimizing performance. Additionally, the UNI FAN TL utilizes Fluid Dynamic bearings (FDB) for the fan motor, guaranteeing quieter and smoother operation. The combination of a thicker fan frame, robust LCP blade material, and FDB contributes to outstanding performance and reduced noise levels.
Both the UNI FAN TL and TL LCD models feature large infinity mirrors on both sides of the frame, accompanied by a diffused RGB strip along the edges of the anti-vibration pads. This lighting style creates a seamless effect when multiple fans are connected in clusters. The top and bottom LEDs are divided into two zones, allowing for individual control via L-Connect. The interlocking mechanism from the original UNI FANs enables users to form fan clusters powered by a single cable. With the L-Connect’s automatic fan detection feature, managing these fans becomes effortless, optimizing system airflow while intelligently identifying fan size and location within each group.
Excitingly, the UNI FAN TL series is now available for pre-order starting December 20th, 2023.
