At the SC23 supercomputing show, NVIDIA announced that the GH200 will be integrated into systems from leading manufacturers such as Dell Technologies, Eviden, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Lenovo, QCT, and Supermicro. These systems, which combine the ARM-based NVIDIA Grace CPU and Hopper GPU architectures using NVLink-C2C interconnect technology, will be deployed in scientific supercomputing centers worldwide. In total, these centers will deliver a staggering 200 exaflops of AI performance, driving scientific innovation to new heights.
HPE also made an exciting announcement at the show, revealing that it will offer HPE Cray EX2500 supercomputers featuring the NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip. These supercomputers will provide organizations with unparalleled agility and faster AI training capabilities. HPE’s solution aims to accelerate large-scale AI model training and tuning, empowering businesses to achieve transformative breakthroughs.
Several supercomputing centers have already chosen to integrate GH200 systems into their infrastructure. Germany’s Jülich Supercomputing Centre plans to use GH200 superchips in its JUPITER supercomputer, which will be Europe’s first exascale supercomputer. This powerful system will address urgent scientific challenges such as climate change mitigation, pandemic response, and sustainable energy production.
The Joint Center for Advanced High Performance Computing in Japan, a collaboration between the University of Tsukuba and the University of Tokyo, will also harness the power of NVIDIA Grace Hopper. The University of Bristol, with funding from the UK government, is building Isambard-AI, the country’s most powerful supercomputer. This system will drive breakthroughs in robotics, big data analysis, climate research, and drug discovery.

Select providers like Lambda and Vultr are offering early access to GH200 instances.
