Intel's budget-friendly Arc A750 ORC GPU has dropped to $189, offering gamers a significant savings and positioning Intel to offer the most budget-friendly 8GB graphics card on the market.

  • Intel's A750 dropped below $190
  • Sparkle offering Arc A750 ORC model with factory overclocking for a reduced price of $189
  • Intel likely to offer the most budget-friendly 8GB graphics card on the market

Sparkle Arc A750 Orc, the budget-friendly GPU from Intel, has just dropped below $190, coinciding with the imminent launch of Intel’s A580. When Intel initially released the A750 in 2022, it carried a price tag of $289, positioning it as the second-fastest Arc Alchemist GPU. However, in order to compete with AMD and nVidia’s more affordable options, Intel had to revise its pricing strategy. Earlier this year, they reduced the price of the A750 to $249.

Now, Intel is preparing to unveil the Arc A580 GPU, which boasts 8GB of memory and a modified ACM-G10 GPU featuring 24 Xe-Cores. While reviews for this card have yet to emerge, it is expected to offer similar performance to the A750, with just 4 additional Xe-Cores.

Interestingly, Sparkle, a newcomer in the GPU market with an exclusive partnership with Intel, is taking the lead by offering the Arc A750 ORC model with factory overclocking for a reduced price of $189. This represents a significant drop from the original A750 MSRP, surpassing $100 in savings and undercutting the ‘new’ MSRP by $60.

Moreover, there are other models available at the $199 price point, including Intel’s own Limited Edition variant and Acer’s Predator Biforst card, which was launched at Computex in May.

The reduced price of $189 for the A750 suggests that the A580 might be even more affordable. This move positions Intel to offer the most budget-friendly 8GB graphics card on the market, a prospect that is likely to catch the attention of gamers. However, the crucial factor will be whether the A580 can deliver performance that matches the value proposition set by the Arc A7 series. Meanwhile, the A750 has already undergone thorough testing by numerous reviewers.
