Samsung has been heavily investing in the new Galaxy AI technology, although it is still quite limited – partly because the supported languages are still quite restricted. The company is working to integrate Galaxy AI into as many devices as possible, which also involves supporting as many languages as possible. However, this will be done gradually in the coming months.
Samsung aims to have 20 new languages supported on Galaxy AI by the end of this year. To kickstart this list, the company has announced that the system will now be compatible with Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, and Romanian.
In addition to adding support for new languages, some of the currently supported languages may also receive expansions. For example, while Galaxy AI is available in Portuguese, it is currently only the Brazilian variant. However, the plan is to also launch it for the Portuguese variant of Portugal.
Currently, Galaxy AI supports a total of 16 different languages, including Arabic, Chinese (Mainland China, Hong Kong), English (Australia, India, United Kingdom, United States), French (Canada, France), German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Mexico, Spain, United States), Thai, and Vietnamese.
More updates about the system are expected to be revealed soon as development progresses.
