But what exactly is Panther III? It’s not just another encryption or compression solution. Panther III is a comprehensive, All-in-One “storage accelerator.” It combines various storage acceleration functions, such as compression, deduplication, encryption, data protection, and real-time validation, into a single hardware-based solution. This consolidation of features allows Panther III to offload and expedite specific data processing tasks, resulting in improved performance, cost savings, and energy efficiency compared to traditional software-only solutions.

According to a report by Fortune Business Insights, the global cloud storage market size is projected to reach a staggering $665 billion by 2032. This growth comes with an increase in power usage, as data centers consume a significant amount of electricity. By leveraging a 12:1 data reduction ratio, Panther III can significantly increase the effective storage capacity of NVMe drives. For example, an 8-drive 1U AFA storage server equipped with Panther III can transform the effective capacity from 8 TB to a whopping 96 TB. This means organizations can store more data on fewer drives, leading to substantial cost savings.
