AAEON, the leading provider of advanced AI solutions, has just launched its latest product, the MAXER-2100 AI Inference Server. This 2U Rackmount server is powered by the Intel Core i9-13900 Processor and is designed to meet the high-performance computing needs of businesses.

One of the standout features of the MAXER-2100 is its ability to execute complex AI algorithms and datasets, process multiple high-definition video streams simultaneously, and utilize machine learning to refine large language models (LLMs) and inferencing models. This is made possible by its high-performance CPU and integrated nVidia Geforce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU.

To ensure seamless operation, the MAXER-2100 comes equipped with up to 128 GB of DDR5 system memory and offers ample storage options, including an M.2 2280 M-Key for NVMe and two hot-swappable 2.5″ SATA SSD bays with RAID support. Additionally, it provides various expansion options, such as PCIe slots and M.2 slots for Wi-Fi and micro SIM cards.

In terms of connectivity, the MAXER-2100 offers four RJ-45 ports, two running at 2.5GbE and two at 1GbE speed, along with four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports running at 10 Gbps. It also supports RS-232/422/485 via a DB-9 port and features multiple display interfaces, including HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, and VGA ports.

Despite its powerful components, the MAXER-2100 maintains a compact form factor of just 17″ x 3.46″ x 17.6″ (431.8 mm x 88 mm x 448 mm), thanks to its innovative cooling architecture and fan placement that prioritizes airflow around critical components while reducing system noise.

AAEON has identified three primary user bases for the MAXER-2100: edge computing clients, central management clients, and enterprise AI clients. Edge computing clients can benefit from the server’s ability to run multiple AI models across high-definition video streams, making it an ideal solution for applications like automated optical inspection (AOI) and smart city solutions.

Central management clients, on the other hand, can take advantage of the MAXER-2100’s remote multi-device management functions, allowing them to easily deploy and refine AI models or store local data on edge devices.
