Gigabyte Technology’s subsidiary, Giga Computing, is stirring up the server and industrial motherboard industry with the launch of their new products. These products support Intel Xeon 6 Processor (LGA 4710) with Efficient-cores, available in both single and dual socket configurations. GIGABYTE’s enterprise portfolio, which includes GPU servers, Liquid Cooling servers, and motherboards, covers a wide range of compute needs in the server market.

One of the key features of GIGABYTE’s new products is the support for both Efficient-cores (E-Cores) and Performance-cores (P-Cores) on this platform. E-cores are available now, while P-core products will be available in the future. This flexibility allows for consistent performance, greater energy efficiency, and dense rack and core density, making these solutions ideal for cloud, networking, media, and data services workloads.

GIGABYTE’s extensive enterprise portfolio for the Intel Xeon 6 processor includes GPU servers, direct liquid cooling (DLC) servers, multi-node servers, general purpose motherboards and servers, and edge servers. This wide range of servers enables data centers to integrate them quickly to achieve dynamic goals, such as GIGA POD, a rack-scale supercomputing AI infrastructure.

The compatibility of GIGABYTE’s new Xeon based servers with cloud-native software stacks ensures portability and consistency in containerized applications in distributed systems. This compatibility is crucial for cloud-scale workflows that rely on efficient AI performance and built-in acceleration.

GIGABYTE has also focused on GPU series servers, specifically the G494 and G294 models, which are designed for accelerated computing using PCIe based accelerators. The G494 series is the most powerful server in this lineup, supporting up to ten accelerators in a 4U chassis. The G294 series, on the other hand, uses a 2U form factor and can accommodate up to sixteen inference cards, providing greater GPU compute density.

For those looking for high-density servers with liquid cooling options, GIGABYTE’s H274 series is the perfect choice. This series offers optimal thermal engineering for air, liquid, and immersion cooling models. With the H274 series, one server can have up to 1,152 E-cores. To ensure the best cooling efficiency, GIGABYTE has partnered with CoolIT Systems to provide direct liquid cooling (DLC) kits.

GIGABYTE’s new general purpose server series and motherboards offer flexibility and cost-effectiveness. These products can handle a wide range of workloads and applications for building and operating cloud infrastructure. With single and dual-socket options, multiple PCIe expansion slots, and various storage options, these servers and motherboards cater to diverse needs. Additionally, the E-series servers have a shorter depth of only 520 mm, making them suitable for edge applications.

This initial wave of products for Intel Xeon 6 is just the beginning for GIGABYTE. Their products will continue to support upcoming Intel Xeon processors that are socket compatible, ensuring that customers can stay up to date with the latest technology advancements.
