MSI, a global server provider, is set to showcase its latest server platforms at ISC 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. These platforms are specifically designed for the high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) markets. It boasts up to eight double-wide PCIe 5.0 x16 slots optimized for high-performance GPU cards, as well as one single-wide PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slot. The GPU cards have a direct link to the root port complex of a CPU socket, providing maximum CPU-to-GPU bandwidth. Powered by dual 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors and equipped with 32 DDR5 DIMMs, the G4201 platform delivers exceptional heterogeneous computing capabilities for various GPU-based scientific high-performance computing, Generative AI, and inference applications.

The G4101 is another noteworthy offering from MSI, a 4U 4GPU server platform designed specifically for AI training workloads. It supports a single AMD EPYC 9004 Series processor with a liquid cooling module and features four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots tailored for triple-slot graphic cards with Coolers. This design ensures increased airflow and sustained performance. The G4101 also provides flexible storage options with its twelve front 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe/SATA drive bays, catering to the diverse needs of AI workloads. With a combination of air flow spacing and liquid closed-loop cooling, the G4101 offers an optimal thermal management solution for even the most demanding tasks.

For small-sized businesses, MSI offers the liquid-cooled S1102-02 server, which provides superior thermal performance while optimizing costs.
