Microsoft has launched Copilot+ PCs, the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs ever built, featuring Recall for easy access to past information, Cocreator for generating AI images, Live Captions for real-time translations, and prioritized security and privacy, all in partnership with top OEMs and starting at $999.

  • Revolutionary AI capabilities
  • Powerful hardware for unparalleled performance
  • Advanced features like Recall, Cocreator, and Live Captions

Microsoft launched a new category of Windows PCs at a special event on their new campus. These PCs, called Copilot+, are being touted as the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs ever built. Equipped with powerful silicon capable of 40+ trillion operations per second, all-day battery life, and access to advanced AI models, Copilot+ PCs promise to deliver unique experiences that can’t be found on any other PC.

One of the standout features of Copilot+ PCs is Recall, which aims to solve the frustrating problem of finding something you’ve seen before on your PC. With Recall, users can access virtually anything they’ve seen or done on their PC using cues and associations unique to their individual experiences. It organizes information based on relationships, making it easier to find what you’re looking for quickly and intuitively.

Another exciting feature is Cocreator, which allows users to generate and refine AI images in near real-time directly on the device. By leveraging powerful processors and AI models, users can easily bring their ideas to life using natural language to describe what they want to create. Whether it’s generating new images or reimagining personal photos with different styles, Cocreator offers endless creative possibilities.

Live Captions is another notable feature that aims to bridge language barriers. It provides real-time translations of audio from over 40 languages into English subtitles, making content more accessible to a global audience. This feature is powered by the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) and is available across all Copilot+ PCs.

Microsoft has also prioritized security and privacy with Copilot+ PCs. The Microsoft Pluton Security processor is enabled by default on all devices, and personalized privacy controls have been built-in to help users protect their data.

In terms of hardware, Microsoft has partnered with top OEMs like Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Samsung to bring a range of thin, light, and beautiful devices to market. Starting at $999, Copilot+ PCs offer incredible value compared to similar spec’d devices.

This launch marks a significant milestone for Microsoft as they have completely reimagined the PC with AI at the center. They have introduced a new system architecture that brings together the CPU, GPU, and a new high-performance Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to deliver unparalleled performance and efficiency for running AI workloads.

Overall, Copilot+ PCs represent a major step forward in AI innovation on the device. With powerful hardware, advanced AI capabilities, and a focus on security and privacy, these PCs are poised to revolutionize the Windows platform. Pre-orders are now available, and the devices will be available starting on June 18th.
