Lian Li, a manufacturer of chassis and PC accessories, is shaking up the PC industry with the launch of their latest creation, the SUP-01. This small tower case is anything but ordinary, as it completely reimagines the traditional layout of standard PCs. With its innovative design and thoughtful engineering, the SUP-01 is set to revolutionize the way we think about PC cases.

One of the standout features of the SUP-01 is its three separate airflow chambers, each dedicated to essential components. The GPU, CPU’s AIO, and motherboard each have their own designated space, ensuring optimal cooling and performance. The GPU takes center stage at the front panel, mounted on a fully adjustable bracket that allows for precise positioning. This placement not only maximizes airflow but also adds a touch of aesthetic appeal.

Behind the motherboard tray, the SUP-01 can accommodate up to a 360 AIO for enhanced cooling efficiency. The inclusion of a non-tinted tempered glass panel on the left side provides a clear view of the main chamber, which supports regular ATX motherboards and ATX back-connect motherboards. The PCIe riser bracket also features built-in diffused LED strips, adding a touch of style to the overall design.

In terms of customization, the SUP-01 doesn’t disappoint. LED strips adorn the top edge of the PSU chamber, as well as the left and front sides of the case. These LED strips can be conveniently controlled via the built-in Mode and Color buttons, offering six preset modes and eleven colors for users to choose from.

Despite its compact 45-liter enclosure, the SUP-01 doesn’t compromise on high-end hardware compatibility. By focusing on integrating only the core components, Lian Li has managed to create a thermally efficient computer that rivals larger PC designs. The upright position of the GPU at the front of the case allows for fresh air intake, optimizing GPU performance.

The SUP-01 boasts three separate airflow chambers for efficient cooling. The GPU acts as an intake at the front, while three pre-installed 120 mm PWM fans serve as exhaust behind the motherboard tray, creating the first airflow chamber. For the CPU, an AIO with a radiator and fans mounted behind the motherboard tray creates the second airflow chamber, supporting up to a 280/360 mm AIO. Additionally, a 120 mm fan can be mounted at the rear of the case to cool motherboard components such as RAM, CPU power delivery, and M.2 storage.

In terms of compatibility, the SUP-01 can accommodate a range of motherboards, including ATX back-connect motherboards, standard ATX, M-ATX, and Mini-ITX. Equipped with a PCIe 4.0 riser cable mounted on a pre-installed bracket, the SUP-01 supports GPUs of up to four slots thick with a maximum length of 400 mm at the front. Storage options include provision for up to two 3.5″ HDDs or 2.5″ SSDs in the PSU chamber, with an additional two 2.5″ SSDs that can be mounted above the PSU shroud in the main chamber, featuring an elegant mirror cover.

The SUP-01 is set to be available for pre-order on May 30th, 2024, with a retail price of $149.99 for both the black and white versions.
