Europe’s leading premium liquid-cooling gear manufacturer, EK, has just launched its latest innovation: the stand-alone VTX pump. Designed specifically for compact loop environments, these pumps offer impressive features that make them perfect for smaller cases.

Already a part of EK’s pump-reservoir combos, the VTX pumps come with a DDC-compatible mount, ensuring easy integration into existing setups. With remarkable head pressure and efficient flow rates, these pumps deliver top-notch performance while taking up minimal space.

One of the standout features of the VTX pump is its small footprint, which doesn’t compromise on hydraulic characteristics. It can achieve flow rates of up to 1100L/h and a maximum head pressure of 5.3 m, making it a powerful contender in its category. Unlike its DDC counterparts, the VTX pump doesn’t require a heatsink, thanks to its efficient pump motor that doesn’t demand additional external cooling.

The materials used in its construction include NORYL GFN2, EPDM O-rings, copper coils, stainless steel shaft, and graphite bushing.

In terms of connectivity, the VTX pump offers both a 4-Pin Molex power connector and a 4-Pin PWM fan connector for control and readout. Its operational regime is defined by a PWM duty cycle ranging from approximately 11% to 100%. When no PWM feedback signal is present, the default behavior is to run at a 100% duty cycle.

It’s important to note that the VTX pump is water-lubricated and should not be run dry, as this could lead to permanent bearing damage. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, proper maintenance is crucial.
