First up, let’s talk about the removal of FSR 3. After analyzing crash data from the Server Stress Test, it became apparent that FSR 3 integrations were causing a significant number of issues, regardless of whether users had the setting turned on or not. In order to ensure a more stable experience, Inflexion Games has temporarily removed FSR 3 from the launch build. However, fear not! They are actively working with external and internal teams to explore the possibility of implementing either FSR 3 or an older version in future updates. Rest assured, XeSS and DLSS will still be available at launch for those who prefer alternative options.

Now, let’s dive into some exciting HUD updates. In response to valuable feedback and observations from the Server Stress Test, Inflexion Games has made some noteworthy changes to the UI. The hotbar has been revamped, now ranging from 1 to 0 (which can be rebound in settings). The default 1-5 keys are still designated for the mainhand, while the offhand is linked to the 6-0 keys by default. Additionally, the status bar presentation has been enhanced with the addition of icons per status. To prevent clutter, the HUD will fade out when no actions or survival pressures are triggered after a short period of time.

But that’s not all! The UI has undergone further improvements. Equipped items will no longer clutter your inventory, and you can now easily drag and drop items between your inventory and hotbar.
