AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D: Dominates CPU Sales at Top Retailers with $100 Discount
AMD’s latest 3D V-Cache chips have taken the CPU market by storm, surpassing all other competitors in terms of sales. Just last month, we reported that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D was one of the top five bestselling processors at major retailers. However, fast forward to today, and we can see that the 7800X3D has not only maintained its position but has further solidified its dominance over the past two weeks. It now stands as one of the top three most popular CPUs at every major hardware retailer.
One of the leading retailers, Newegg, is currently offering the Ryzen 7 7800X3D at a discounted price of $349, which is a significant $100 off its original launch MSRP of $449. In addition, Intel’s Core i7-13700K has also seen a price reduction, now available for $365, $50 less than its sticker price. The previous generation chip, the 12700K, has experienced an even steeper drop in price, now retailing for just $239.99. Both chips feature 8 P-Cores, but the Ryzen 7 7800X3D doubles the E-core count from 4 to 8.
Over at Amazon, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D claims the second spot on the bestsellers chart, closely followed by the Ryzen 7 5800X, Core i7-13700K, and the Core i7-12700KF at positions #3, #4, and #5, respectively. Although these prices are slightly higher than those at Newegg, they do not require any discount codes.
Meanwhile, B&H has seen little change in its rankings over the past two weeks. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D remains the top-selling CPU, with the 7600X and 7800X3D following closely at positions #2 and #3. Surprisingly, these CPUs are still priced close to their original MSRP. The Core i9-13900K secures the fourth spot, also maintaining a price similar to its launch price.
The weekly sales chart from Mindfactory Germany, as reported by TechEpiphany, shows minimal changes. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D continues to be the best-selling CPU, with the 5800X3D, 5700X, 5800X, 5600X, and 7600X trailing behind in that order. In summary, the X3D chips contribute significantly to AMD’s overall Ryzen revenue.
AMD’s Ryzen 7 7800X3D has undoubtedly made a strong impact on the CPU market, dominating sales across various major retailers. With its impressive performance and the added incentive of a $100 discount, it’s no wonder that consumers are flocking to get their hands on this powerful processor. As AMD continues to innovate and offer competitive pricing, it will be interesting to see how the CPU market evolves in the coming months.
