Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, known for their comprehensive suite of applications for complex industries, seamlessly run on Ampere processors within OCI, meeting performance and sustainability goals.
Furthermore, Oracle Database, the world’s leading database management system, is fully enabled on Ampere CPUs, giving customers the option to choose Ampere for both performance and efficiency.
Notably, all OCI services, which number in the hundreds, are now running on Ampere processors. This means that end customers can easily migrate all their workloads to the Ampere platform. This includes running AI Inferencing workloads enabled by Ampere’s AI Optimizer software libraries. As a result, customers are already embracing Ampere’s A1 instances on OCI, with A2 instances set to be available before the end of the year.
Customers who have already made the switch to OCI and Ampere have praised the ease of adoption and the improved price-performance. 8×8, for instance, successfully migrated and ported their services to OCI and Ampere within a matter of weeks.
