- Adds OpenGL 3.3 support
- Performance gains of over 40% in "Valorant" and more than 10% in "Project CARS"
- Stability enhancements for popular titles such as Dark Souls: Remastered, GTFO, The Riftbreaker, SketchUp 2023, and 3D One
MTT, the developer of discrete gaming GPUs, has released a new driver update that brings several improvements for gamers on Windows 10. One notable enhancement is the addition of OpenGL 3.3 support, which was previously lacking compatibility with MTT GPUs.
Performance gains are also a highlight of this update. Gamers can expect frame rate increases of over 40% in “Valorant” and more than 10% in “Project CARS” when playing at 1080p resolution with the highest quality settings. Additionally, games powered by the CryEngine engine will see substantial performance boosts of over 40% compared to the previous driver version.
Stability has been a focus of this update as well, with enhancements benefiting popular titles such as Dark Souls: Remastered, GTFO, The Riftbreaker, SketchUp 2023, and 3D One. These improvements ensure a smoother and more reliable gaming experience for users across various applications and games.
The MTT 240.40.0.1 driver also includes fixes for 20 reported issues, with the company actively working on resolving 5 other issues. Some of the resolved issues include graphical glitches in games like “NARAKA: BLADEPOINT” and “Apex Legends,” as well as occasional crashes and display problems.
It’s worth noting that while MTT provides percentage improvements in performance, they do not disclose specific frame rates, which may impact the overall playability of games.
To download the driver, users can access it through PES Control, MTT’s graphics control software that also serves as a driver update platform.
Overall, this driver update from MTT brings significant improvements in gaming performance, stability, and compatibility for Windows 10 users.
