Lian Li's O11D EVO XL offers extreme cooling performance, easy customization options, and thoughtful design features for PC enthusiasts and builders.
- Support for three 420mm radiators simultaneously
- Motherboard tray is designed to be fully removable and height-adjustable
- Flexibility to customize setup according to preferences
Lian Li, a manufacturer of chassis and PC accessories, is introducing the O11D EVO XL, the ultimate addition to their O11D series. Building upon the success of the O11D EVO, the EVO XL boasts an array of new features that elevate its performance and customization options.
One of the standout features of the O11D EVO XL is its support for three 420mm radiators simultaneously, providing exceptional cooling capabilities. The motherboard tray is designed to be fully removable and height-adjustable, allowing for better fan and radiator clearance at the top or bottom. Additionally, the case features a removable front pillar and improved support for upright GPU mounting on the side fan/radiator bracket.
The O11D EVO XL retains the unique characteristics of its predecessor, including the ability to reverse the case and a relocatable front I/O module. This flexibility allows users to customize their setup according to their preferences.
In terms of cooling performance, the O11D EVO XL truly excels. With its support for three 140mm fans or 420mm radiators on each bracket (top, bottom, and side), users can achieve extreme cooling capabilities. The motherboard tray’s height adjustment feature further enhances airflow management. Additionally, when the motherboard is in lower mode, the rear of the case can accommodate up to two 120mm fans.
The O11D EVO XL also offers easy customization options. By removing the front pillar and side bands on the tempered glass panels, users can enjoy an unobstructed view of their PC. Furthermore, the case can be fully reversible and features a relocatable I/O module with three supported locations (front, side, and rear). Users can also opt for additional accessories to change their GPU mounting location to either vertical or upright, with support for larger GPUs.
The second chamber of the O11D EVO XL houses two hot-swap storage drive cages, each capable of supporting two 3.5″ HDDs or 2.5″ SSDs. These cages are mounted on hinges, allowing for easy access to the mounting trays. To ensure optimal cooling for the drives, each cage can be equipped with a 15mm thick 120mm fan.
Cable management is made effortless with the O11D EVO XL. The cable cover bar is hinged for quick access, and the case comes equipped with three dual-layer cable clips that can be mounted anywhere along vertical grommets pass through. These clips provide a convenient solution for managing cables from the PSU and front IO, while the Velcro strap on top of the clip is perfect for fan cable management.
The O11D EVO XL will be available for pre-order on September 7th, 2023, in black and white color options. The suggested retail price for the black variant is $234.99, while the white variant is priced at $244.99. With its exceptional cooling performance, easy customization options, and thoughtful design features, the O11D EVO XL is set to impress PC enthusiasts and builders alike.

PSU: A Power Supply Unit (PSU) is an essential component of any computer system. It is responsible for providing the necessary power to the components of the computer. It converts the alternating current (AC) from the wall outlet into the direct current (DC) that the computer components need. The PSU also regulates the voltage and current to ensure that the components are not damaged by too much or too little power. The PSU is also responsible for providing the necessary cooling to the components, as well as protecting them from power surges. In the computer industry, PSUs are used in desktop computers, laptops, servers, and other electronic devices. They are also used in gaming consoles, home theater systems, and other consumer electronics.
